About Oklahoma

Oklahoma is solidly Republican, with hot button issues including health care, education reform, and lowering taxes. Only one Congressional district has a Democratic incumbent, and the state voted overwhelmingly for Trump in 2016. In July 2020, about half of the state was determined to be Native American land in a 5-4 Supreme Court vote. The state capitol building is the only one in the world built on top of working oil wells, exemplifying their state motto: labor omnia vincit, or work conquers all.
