About Tennessee

"America at its best" as it's known, Tennessee, nestled in the heart of the South, has undergone the transition from a once battle ground state to a now established "safe" state for Republican candidates. In each of the past six presidential elections, spanning back to 1996, Tennessee has trended more and more towards the Republican Party in each election. The hot button issues of the state reflect these growing Republican perspectives with immigration, 2nd amendment rights, abortion and healthcare being some of the leading issues right now. Trump won big here in 2016, winning 60.7% of the vote and will be looking to repeat that result in this year's upcoming election. Fun fact: Tennessee not only furnished the most soldiers for the confederacy of any state, but it also furnished the most soldiers for the union of any southern state.
