About Indiana

Indiana...popcorn capital of the nation and childhood home of Abraham Lincoln. Indiana is the most conservative state in the politically swingy "Midwest" vernacular region. Indiana went for Obama in 2008, its first democratic vote for the first time since Lyndon B. Johnson's landslide victory in 1964. This was likely due to Obama’s Midwestern roots. However, like other Midwestern states - such as Ohio and Iowa - it has shifted sharply to the right since then, going for Trump and Romney by double digits. Santa Claus, Indiana receives more than a half million “Dear Santa” letters around Christmas each year. Santa’s little helpers are certainly sure to get them to the North Pole in time for Christmas.
